Not only this, but more complex and abstract concepts such as cognitive reasoning and logic, problem solving, spatial awareness, imagination and patience are being developed and supported by toys such as construction bricks.
The STEM program has placed increased importance on strong skill foundations in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics areas. Key STEM skills include:

By eight years old’s, children have good finger control which will improve to mastery with time and intricate toys like Flexo can also assist. At this time, many children will enjoy hands-on activities, and blocks can help children learn how to move and manipulate various shaped objects, big and small, as well as develop control to “click” blocks into place.
Often children of this age have a strong drive to understand how and why things work, and Flexo is the perfect addition to a LEGO collection to stretch and strengthen technical skills, creative abilities and spatial awareness.
